Since joining Iron Tribe Fitness East Memphis in February 2015, Caleb Parr has dropped nearly 100 pounds. He came across Iron Tribe when a friend gave him a free month coupon. He didn’t expect much would come out of the workouts, but he was quickly amazed by the outcome. Since joining Iron Tribe, Caleb has been challenged daily, and seen tremendous results in his overall fitness.
“I love everything about Iron Tribe,” said Caleb, who initially started working out at Iron Tribe so he could drop some weight before getting married. “Working out with some really tough athletes pushes me harder each class. When I think of the word ‘Athlete,’ it’s not someone that weighs almost 300 pounds, but I think I’ve came a long way since the beginning of this and the numbers are only going to keep dropping. I look forward to 7:30 pm to see what I’ll be doing the next day. I have to give a huge shout out to the coaches at the East Memphis location, because I honestly feel like they care about my progress and want me to hit my goals just as much as I do.”

Hear Caleb Tell It
My journey with Iron Tribe started when a friend (Teresa Lammie) of my wife and I kept raving how fun it was. Teresa gave me the free month. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much of it. I was completely wrong! When I started last February 2015 my weight was 385lbs, and I was getting married in September, and I set a goal for myself to be under 300lbs by the wedding. Although I didn’t hit my goal I was still lost 65lbs by September 5th and felt the best in my life that I can remember. Currently I’m at 295lbs and my goal this year is to be at the 200lb mark. I have no doubt with the coaches John, Grant, Chris and Q that I will get there. I love everything about Iron Tribe. Working out with some really tough athletes pushes me harder each class. I feel weird submitting myself for this because when I think of the word “Athlete”, it’s not someone that weighs almost 300lbs, but I think I’ve come a long way since the beginning of this and the numbers are only going to keep dropping. Another thing I love about the tribe is the different workouts each class! I think that’s what keeps it from being repetitive and keeps me coming back. I look forward to 7:30pm to see what I’ll be doing the next day! I have to give a huge shout out to the coaches at the East Memphis location, because I honestly feel like they care about my progress and want me to hit my goals just as much as I do.
