Hobbies
Playing with my kids. Wrestling and hide and seek are the favorites right now although they are always up for a run to Yogurt Mountain. Cooking with my wife (mainly I’m on dish duty) and hanging out with her whenever and wherever I can. I love to read! Mostly motivational books and the Bible. Listening to music is also a passion

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Bio
I have been in the fitness industry since 1996 and can’t imagine doing anything else. I started working out aggressively in college because I was the smallest guy on the cheerleading squad at Auburn and needed to put on about 30 pounds to hang with the other guys. The research and work that I put in to make that happen eventually led to a pursuit of natural bodybuilding competitions. Pursuing that goal eventually led to friends at Auburn asking me how to get in shape and before I even knew what was happening I was in the personal training industry! I opened my first personal training studio, Fitness Together, in 2001. I eventually grew that into six studios that I owned and operated right here in Birmingam. I ended up selling all of those studios to purchase the franchise rights to develop the the one on one training franchise in AL, FL and NC. I just recently sold the rights to AL and FL after building my three states to over 55 locations. After finding Crossfit in late 2007 I have been unable to shake the feeling that I just had to get back directly in the fitness industry and help people transform their lives. I just love everything about CrossFit and feel like the more people I can help find it and implement it in their lives the better. I have a beautiful wife who also CrossFit’s and is in great shape. We have three wonderful children. Caroline who is 7 and will probably run for congress, Brooke who is 5 and would live upside down if she could and David who is 2 and thinks it is awesome that he has the same name as his daddy. I’m so glad you stopped by our site and can only hope that you will take the leap to step inside our facility so I can meet you personally and start you on your CrossFit journey as well!
