My wife and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage this May 20, 2010. God has graciously blessed us with boy/girl twins, Rhett and Savannah, born on February 5, 2010. As you can imagine, taking care of these little ones is our primary focus right now and everything else is second place. I have always enjoyed playing sports and training, especially weight training. I swam competitively for about 10 years, then moved on to playing football and running track in high school. Like most people who work out, most of my workouts were chest/back, legs/shoulders, etc. You know, the same old boring routine that leads to burnout. Getting away from these boring workouts is one reason I am excited about starting CrossFit. Working out with a group, competing, and doing something new each day is what I am looking forward to the most.
