Bio
I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from the McCallie School there in 1997. I then went to the University of Alabama. I have lived in Charleston, SC, and Atlanta, GA. I call Birmingham home and love it here in Homewood. Becoming a member of the Irontribe has been the greatest decision of my life to this point as far as taking responsibility for my mental and physical well being. I am hooked.

it’s basically an obstacle course with 30 different challenges at Turner Field….proceeds go to support Navy SEAL Foundation…gotta put that new-found fitness to work

Blake, just got your message. Good plan on staying active when you’re out of town. Think about all of the bodyweight movements we perform at ITF. Pushups, lunges, running, squats, situps, dips, and burpees are all great beginnings. Try combinations of these movements. Example WODS:
50, 100, 150 burpees for time.
50 squats, 100 situps, 150 squats
1 mile run, 50 burpees, 100 squats, 1 mile run

Try 10, 15, or 20 min. AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) with these movements. Also, take a look at the weekend WODS, past and present, for more ideas.
