Greetings Tribe!
As many of you know, I started an organization called “Alabama’s Lost Birthdays” this past spring and summer in direct response to the April 27 storms.
I have a really special birthday coming up THIS Thursday in Phil Campbell, Alabama, one of the hardest hit ( and less fortunate) areas in the state of Alabama. The family we are helping lost their father two weeks before the storm. On April 27 the F-5 tornado took everything else that they owned…. You can watch their story here : ( ie.. the truck they were in was picked up and flipped 7 times )…

Both of the kids have missed their birthdays ( his was June 10 and hers was May 13). He turned 13 and she turned 7.
Here are a few interesting stats to date:
I am going to Phil Campbell on Thursday to give a birthday party to the girl and boy, but this family ( and extended family) have been through so much and have so many needs I think the Tribe can step up and help directly.
( above pic is from the new house built by a church from Maine for Jennifer!)
We have most of the birthday presents taken care of, but I would love to have the ability to buy them:
After serving on the front lines of the relief effort and then backing off to start and manage Lost Birthday’s, life caught up with me in August of this year. With a looming wedding date (where does the time go???) and a delayed job search ( April 27 has not respect- anyone know of any good sales positions ??) I need your help to make an impact in this families life.
We have several more birthdays that we are going to celebrate, but this is one of the more special ones we have helped!
TRIBE - Help me Give More Smiles Back!
Please call / text/ email for questions: If you are interested in going with me on Thursday, please let me know!

Tribers!
Are you struggling with your Kipping Pullups? How about Double Unders and the notorious Muscle-Up?
We are hosting another Gymnastics Skills Workshop that will allow for detailed coaching on these and other gymnastic movements. We know that its tough in the alloted class times to spend the necessary time on coaching these progressions. Our goal is to break down these progressions to move you up towards getting an Rx by your name!
The workshop will be Saturday Oct 16th here at ITF starting at 9am – 10:30am
So make sure you get registered and let us know which movements you would like to see tackled.
I am inviting YOU to join the Tribe this Friday June 18th for an evening of Fun, Food, Movie and of course….WOD!
This nights feature film will be “300″, the 2007 blockbuster hit depicting the great Battle of Thermopylae where 300 Spartan soldiers lead an army of a few thousand against the 1 million man Persian invasion.

Time: 6:00pm
We will kick the evening off with the “300 WOD”, a benchmark WOD that was created to test the physical and mental capacities of the actors and stuntmen throughout their months of training. Consider this their “baseline”.
To achieve their objectives, the crew adopted this motto: Appearance is a Consequence of Fitness
Cost: $20
This will include the WOD, movie and of course delicious catered Paleo Food from our very own, Sean Butler of Food Studio B.
So that we have enough food for everyone, I ask that you register for this event ASAP. If you are unfamiliar with how to register, click here to take you to the step by step instructions.
What to Bring:
-WOD clothes and perhaps a change of clothes to relax in and watch the movie.
-a chair or blanket for movie viewing
-your appetite for the WOD and the food
The movie will begin shortly after we pick the bodies off the floor…..
Remember to register!
