Even though all our members are a close-knit tribe, regardless of gender, we do offer an all-female classes at different times, depending your ITF location.
Led by ITF’s Certified Coaches, you’ll workout alongside other motivated, energetic women of all ages, empowering yourself and each other as you strengthen your body and your resolve.
No, this is not a “girl’s” workout designed to protect manicures and makeup. And we sweat, not “glow.”
You will experience the intensity and results that you’d find at every Tribe Class we offer. The Workout of the Day is the same for everyone. Routines are designed to be scaled to meet a variety of abilities, but not any less challenging than our mixed classes. The only difference is that there are no men, except for some of our coaches who never ceased to be amazed and inspired by the tribe women. And you will be, too! In fact, in addition to building a stronger body, you’ll build strong relationships with the other women in this class.
Maybe that’s why in the past 10 months it’s gone from an average of 6 women to 15. And still growing strong.
The Iron Tribe program is just like a boot camp, right? Isn’t it simply lots of running, burpees, squats and situps?
This is a misconception that could not be further from the truth. Do we prescribe plenty of body weight movements throughout our programming? Yes of course we do. We want you to be really efficient at moving your own body weight! But we also want you efficient at moving live free weights. Heavy free weights.
We want you to Be Able, Be Confident, and Be Strong! Imagine how easy your runs, squats and burpees will be if you could double your strength capacity! Imagine the ease of changing a car tire or moving heavy furniture.
The strength classes offered at Iron Tribe Fitness are designed to compliment your regular ITF programming. Each class is designed to maximize your strength gains through progressions for your entire musculature system. You will spend the whole class time working on technique and most importantly, subjecting yourself to the heavier loads of the powerlifts to spark the neurological changes needed to form a strong and able body.
Olympic Weightlifting Class
Now that you have gotten strong, how do you become powerful? The most powerful athletes on the planet are Olympic Level Weightlifters who move the most amount of weight, the longest distance, in the quickest and most efficient way possible.
The Olympic Weightlifting classes allows for attention to detail in the technical lifts.
Increasing your clean and jerk and snatch is a true testament to your increased power, speed, flexibility, accuracy, coordination and strength. You cannot and will not maximally increase one with out the other.
Technique is heavily driven in these supplemental classes. Becoming smooth and efficient is the key. Take advantage of the weightlifting classes to really set you apart from the crowd and watch your times decrease as your power development skyrockets.
