Founded by Birmingham native, Forrest Walden, Iron Tribe Fitness is redefining the way people look at health and fitness. Iron Tribe provides fitness and nutritional programs to anyone with a desire to better themselves physically and mentally. They currently have four company-owned Iron Tribe Fitness facilities in Birmingham and they are franchising their business model to expand nationally. In just two years, this local Birmingham-based business has quickly transformed into a national success story.

In honor of National Small Business Week, Infusionsoft wanted to take a moment to celebrate the success that Iron Tribe has achieved. What better way to celebrate than to share the Iron Tribe success story on a jumbotron in the busiest intersection in the world—Times Square in New York City!

Infusionsoft created a special video to honor its 2012 Ultimate Marketer, Iron Tribe Fitness, and unveiled it last week in Times Square in front of Forrest, his business partner Jim Cavale, their wives and the 500,000 other people that travel through Times Square every single day. It was a special moment both for Infusionsoft and Iron Tribe Fitness.

Iron Tribe Fitness quickly grew from one location that reached its full 250-member capacity in 2010, to two locations at capacity by the end of 2011. Recently opening locations three and four with record paces to the 250-member capacity mark in Q1 2012, Iron Tribe has plans for four more company-owned locations in Metro Birmingham.

In addition, they have developed a franchising model that just became available for sale, with the first deal being signed this month, to develop four locations in Nashville. Iron Tribe has a goal of selling 10 franchises by the end of 2012, of which they hope to open two. Their three year goal is to have 100 franchises opened nationally while their five year goal is to have 300 locations opened both in and out of the United States.
